Broadward Hall Farm sits just shy of the Welsh border in rural Herefordshire. This is land that’s been farmed by four generations of the Andrews family, and it’s ideally suited for leafier, organic greens like lettuce and kale. Colin and his son, Ben, grow lovely leafy veg for us throughout the year, as well as beautiful sunflowers that encourage bees and pollinating insects to their farm.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items

Storage & prep

Prepare this marvellous UK lettuce so it is ready and waiting for you whenever you need it. When it arrives, take it out of the bag and chop off its bottom. Wash and clean the lettuce and pat dry. Place in an airtight container or bag. Bingo! Your lettuce is now only a handful away.
Don’t forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.

Matters of the heart & soil
Organic farms by nature, save the long term fertility of the soil by allowing worms, insects and more to flourish. There are more living organisms in a handful of good soil than there are people on earth.
